Sometimes, these episodes even provide emotional depth or hilarious moments that wouldn’t fit into the intense main storyline.
On the flip side, some fillers can feel like a drag, especially when you’re dying to see what happens next in the canon story. Endless filler arcs (looking at you, Naruto and Bleach) can test even the most patient fans. But hey, they also give the manga time to progress and the animators a breather, so I get why they exist.
The trick is to treat fillers like snacks between meals: sometimes satisfying, sometimes skippable, but they’re all part of the anime feast!
